How to observe proxy rotation and sticky-session behavior

Use configured-route mode first. It samples the public route used by this page and reports whether that address stayed stable or changed during a bounded window. Advanced mode is only for a proxy endpoint you are authorized to test.

How to use the result

  1. Start with configured mode and collect at least two successful samples.
  2. Review the summary before opening the individual timing and address observations.
  3. Use advanced mode only when browser configuration is unavailable and you understand the credential warning.

What it means

Stable means no change appeared during the collected samples. Rotating means at least one public-address change was observed. Neither result guarantees a provider’s future session duration, target-site behavior, or anonymity.

Important limits

  • The configured result covers this browser page, not every application.
  • Failures can reflect proxy availability, authentication, policy, or network conditions.
  • Advanced credentials are transient, but HTTP proxy authentication is not encrypted between Aerod’s Worker and the proxy.

Common questions

How long should I run the monitor?

Use enough samples to cover the session behavior you care about, while remembering that the monitor stops after its bounded maximum and cannot predict later changes.

Does a stable result prove the proxy is sticky?

No. It only reports that the public address did not change during the successful samples collected in this run.
